Cartridge Filters
AMTEK #10 & # 20 Big Blue Filter Housings
The large capacity Big Blue housings are 
available with either 1" or 1 1 /2" NPT for versatility. The sumps are constructed of reinforced polypropylene, and are available in two cap styles. The larger body size allows for greater cartridge capacity, thus reducing the number of vessels normally required in parallel installations. Housings are available in 10" and 20" lengths to best meet your needs.
The standard cap is molded of glass-reinforced ABS, and the HFPP High Flow cap is of polypropylene. The HFPP cap can handle high flow rates and is compatible with a broad range of chemicals. The internal port has been enlarged from the standard 3/4" to 1 1/4", to allow more liquid to pass through with minimum restriction. Both styles of caps are available with or without a pressure relief button. (Caps and sumps are interchangeable.)

Principle of Operation for the Neptune Water Purifiers
1. Water enters the purifier and flows into the annular space between the quartz sleeve and the outside chamber wall.
2. Within the chamber, water is exposed to intense germicidal ultraviolet radiation.
3. Transformer with LED indicator light provides visual indication of germicidal lamp operation.
4. Water leaving the purifier is instantly ready for use.
